The TVandNav2Go Bentley Continental / GT - VW Phaeton/Porsche Nav Video interface module is the easiest way to interface a video source such as a DVD player, TV tuner, iPod Video, reverse backup video camera, video game console, aftermarket satellite navigation system or any other AV source directly to your OEM GPS Navigation LCD screen display in the Bentley Continental / GT - VW Phaeton/Porsche.

The TVandNav2Go Bentley Continental / GT - VW Phaeton/Porsche module is easy to install, plug and play video module that will allow you to add any NTSC / PAL composite or RGB video source to your OEM GPS navigation LCD display screen. Our module works as long as you have the factory screen installed in your vehicle, regardless of whether or not you have the nav option. The TVandNav2Go Bentley Continental / GT - VW Phaeton/Porsche features 3 composite video inputs, one of which can be activated automatically when shifting the vehicle into reverse (usually used with a back-up camera).

The TVandNav2Go Bentley Continental / GT - VW Phaeton/Porsche is an externally wired plug-and-play interface that is installed inline of your vehicles GPS computer and LCD screen; it works simply by interrupting the RGB video signal from your GPS computer whenever you select the "Input" button on the IR remote that is provided. When your GPS is displayed simply turn on your external video source and activate the input on the remote control and the GPS video image is replaced by your video source, once you turn it back off, the GPS image is displayed once again.

Vehicle Specific Installation Information:

The TVandNav2Go Bentley Continental / GT - VW Phaeton/Porsche module is very easy to install. The TVandNav2Go Bentley Continental / GT - VW Phaeton/Porsche comes complete with a full installation guide, required cables, remote control and IR extender. The TVandNav2Go Bentley Continental / GT - VW Phaeton/Porsche is a video only interface, which means an FM modulator, FM transmitter or CD changer audio input interface adapter needs to be used to connect the audio signal from your external source to your audio system. (unless the vehicle has a factory auxiliary input)

The first step in the installation is to remove the head unit from the car, and open it up to expose its internal circuitry. The small RGB circuit board is then installed into the radio along with the provided ribbon cable. A small wire is then run from the internal RGB circuit board, to the external RGB converter module which is located outside of the radio. Please note that due to the complexity of this interface installation we recommend that installation be performed by a knowledgeable car electronics professional.

The TVandNav2Go Bentley Continental / GT - VW Phaeton/Porsche is video-in-motion enabled, so the video image will stay on the screen even with the car in motion! This unit will work in vehicles with or without the factory GPS navigation option installed, but REQUIRES the factory LCD display to be present regardless.
