BMW/MINI vehicles have several different types of screens in their cars, but they all share the same navigation computer. We provide 4 types of interface choices for all your BMW/Mini needs.

1) Your first choice and least expensive choice is our universal mod. This involves cutting 3 wires at the navigation unit or behind the LCD screen. ***Not for the 2004-up  BMW 5 (E60) and 6 series (E63, E64) these units are plug and play ONLY***

2) Your 2nd choice and a little more expensive is to use our factory OEM BMW/Mini connectors, which makes the unit 100% plug and play. Plug and play solutions are available for all BMW/Mini vehicles, part number BMW-1, EXCEPT for BMW 5,6 and 7 series see below.

3) For your 2004-up  BMW 7 series you can use our universal module (cut 3 wires) or our plug and play unit part number BMW-7.

4) The 2004-up BMW 5 (E60) and 6 series(E63, E64) come in plug and play only and use a new digital RGB unit. The BMW 5 and 6 series part number is BMW56.   

You will need an additional DVD player, back-up camera or PS2/XBOX to display your video on your screen. Sound is processed thru wired or wireless fm modulator. Auxiliary sound input interface may also be available depending on the make and model of your car.

The picture below is of our new BMW 5 and 6 series Digital RGB interface.
  Like our other RGB interfaces it has 2 inputs 1 for DVD and 1 for backup
camera. The unit auto switches to backup camera when you put the car in
reverse.
