General Motors produced a variety of navigation units, the units mostly share the same inside computer. The units fall into 2 categories touch screen and Non touch screen. We provide 2 types of interface choices for all your GM needs. This includes the new 2005 Chevy Corvette.

1) Your first choice and least expensive choice is our universal mod. This involves cutting 4 wires in the Radio unit.

2) Your 2nd choice and a little more expensive is to use our factory OEM GM connectors, which makes the unit 100% plug and play. Plug and play solutions are available for almost all GM vehicles.  

****Please note that the new 2005 Chevy Corvette mod only comes in NON plug and play and must be sent to us for modification. We offer 24 hour turn around on all our radio modifications****

Non-Touch Screen Navigation commonly found on GM vehicles produced before 2004 utilizes the GM-NTS  plug and play harness. The screen has buttons on both sides of the LCD screen. The installation of the harness is easily done by removing the radio from the car, then removing the bottom cover from the screen and replacing one of the ribbon cables.

Touch Screen Navigation commonly found on GM vehicles produced 2004 and newer utilizes the GM-TS plug and play harness. The screen has buttons only on the left side of the LCD screen. The GM-TS plug and play harness can be easily replaced by removing the radio from the car, than removing the bottom cover and replacing one of the ribbon cables.

You will need an additional DVD player, back-up camera or PS2/XBOX to display your video on your screen. Sound is processed thru wired or wireless fm modulator. Auxiliary sound input interface may also be available depending on the model and make of your car.
